Half Day

Trips start at $1200 for up to 6 anglers of Inshore Fishing – 4 hours.

Inshore fishing targets Roosterfish, Dolphin(Dorado), Wahoo, small Tuna(5#-25#), Amberjack, Jack Crevalle, Mackerel and Bonito.

3/4 Day

Trips start at $2000 for up to 6 anglers of Offshore Fishing – 6 hours.

Offshore trips target Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Striped Marlin, Sailfish, Dolphin(Dorado) and Tuna.

Full Day

Trips start at $2400 for up to 6 anglers of Offshore Fishing – 8 hours.

Offshore trips target Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Striped Marlin, Sailfish, Dolphin(Dorado) and Tuna.

What is Included

  • Experienced Captain & 2 Mates
  • All rods, reels, tackle & bait
  • Both full-day and half-day rates include up to 6 anglers
  • Hot coffee when you board the Bushwhacker. Some of the fish caught will prepared on board from Sushi / Sashimi to seared tuna.
  • A hot lunch is included on 3/4 DAY and FULL-DAY TRIPS ONLY.
  • Fresh fruit, snacks, lunches and a case each of beer, sodas and bottled water are included on full-day charters.
  • Fresh fruit, snacks, 1/2 case each of beer, sodas and bottled water are included on half-day charters.
  • Fish cleaning is free of charge.

What to Bring

  • It is important to bring sunscreen (even if you want a tan), a cap or visor, sunglasses (preferably polarized), a light jacket in case of rain.
  • Some female anglers like fingerless sun gloves. Harnesses and fighting belts, considered included equipment, are available.
  • Any food or drink items that you wish to bring are easily stored in the cabin refrigerator.

Where to Stay

Policies

  • Full-day charters depart from the beach at 7 am. Pickups at other locations negotiated with fuel surcharge.
  • A full day generally begins with pickup at 7 am and return at 4:30 pm. If the bite is hot, we may be later, depending upon your return requirements.
  • If the weather (usually wind) is bad offshore, you will have the option to change to available dates that work for both parties.
  • Your booking is secured by a 50% deposit to be received within fourteen (14) days of booking.
  • Cancellations forfeit 50% of deposit, and must be received within fourteen (14) days of charter date. Cancellations received less than fourteen (14) days prior to charter forfeit full deposit.
  • Payment can be made through bank transfers or personal check sent to my US address.
  • We promote “tag & release” in Costa Rica and it is also the law. All billfish and roosterfish must be released.
  • Tips are normally a minimum of 15%-20% of the charter rate.
