The Bushwacker is a 42’ Bertram with twin Cummins QSM-11 four-stroke engines and a Marine Metal Fabricator’s tuna tower. The boat has been rebuilt top to bottom, any profit goes right back into the perpetual upgrading. The interior is newly redone and you’ll be cool and comfortable in the fully air-conditioned cabin under power of three CruiseAir AC units in the case that you need a break from the action.
The galley features
A full-sized refrigerator with freezer, a stove and Microwave.
On all-day trips which are 10 1/2 hours and our 5hr trip, we will prepare some of the catch on board, from Sushi to seared tuna, If you have special diet please let us know so we can provide you with favorite food. Most food is available.
A hot lunch is provided ONLY ON ALL DAY TRIPS. Coffee and a light breakfast will be provided as soon as you board the Bushwacker. Fruits, snacks, soft drinks, water and beer, are also just a step away.
To the cockpit:
All Shimano reels (2-speed with #30 – #80 test, and single-speed with #4 – #20 test) on custom rods; Penn downriggers and Rupp outriggers, a 4-rod fighting chair with a 4-rod rocket launcher, and a live well all help define your experience. The Bushwacker was newly fitted with Furuno electronics, including two VHF radios, 2 GPS’, primary and secondary depth sounders, water temp gauges, a radar and stereo systems.
Finally, but not least importantly, safety gear:
11 life jackets and 2 life rafts, an Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB), 4 bilge pumps, and both fixed and portable fire extinguishers.
